The...Play Dirty is one of the great anti-war films.<br />The story is good but the delivery is one that is clearly meant to make a point rather than entertain in the way 'Dirty Dozen' does.<br /><br />I own a mint condition print of the film on 16mm. Glad ...I saw this on TCM and felt exactly the same! Glad there is love for this out there!<br /><br />I would imagine at the time, the fact it was such a good film was overshadowed by the fact that it so clearly shared a lot of the attributes of the Dirty Dozen.
